No Poetry Was Written
No poetry was written that day
No children played,
Lovers did not kiss
Dogs did not bark
The sky was gray
The grass, yellow-green
Maidens screamed into a lifeless world.
No, no poetry was written
No baby cried
Men faced off
and women sighed.
Children were silent
Birds fell from the sky
Clouds ceased and dismissed
And I didn't think of you.
No, no poetry was written
And I swam in rain
You tried to confront me
Give me all the blame
No, no poetry was written
No, not ever again.
They say i'm a soft-hearted Devil
Violent but hoping for peace
You can try all you want to my dear
There's no hope of changing me
I've burned buildings out of boredom
Watched as lives turned to ash
And yet felt compelled to run in again
To save a little girl for her dad
I slay thousands because I can
And for that I'm told i'm hopeless
But the guilt inside is unbearable
So to each family I leave a dozen roses
This softness is unwelcome to me
But I know it's because of you
Your love for me is a curse I can't break
but I don't think I would if i could choose
You're an angel too good for this world
And too good for a monster like me
But for s
Did we dye ourselves
in colours of mercy,
do we go neutral
ourselves or fade to
black, was it nearest
the end we found
our own redemption
we laid its tracks,
was it human-like
intentions fearing
the sincerest act
as stern as tomorrows
bleakness. As wings
that protrude from
the dawning figure
those once protruding
wings that once stood
with the proudest
glimmer but now
they were covered
by red murder-struck,
as feathers fell like
floods of streams
from where they hung,
fear fled fullish as
fleeting from itself
as the subtleness
sheds from shrouds
they seeped, those
shrouds the seams
of mercury. Was it
dubious mystique?

Song of Bliss #10
She is love and beauty
Just as I am flaw and rage
She offers hope and laughter
And I return pain and death
I am deviousness
Just as she is truth and sage
She comes to make me better
And I come to take her breath
I am domination
She is life and shining eyes
She smiles to calm my anger
And I smile to draw here near
She is thought and silence
I am noise and muffled cries
She showers me in passion
And I shower her in fear
In the darkness of my mind, it roams;
Too big to fit under my shoe.
It’s not a mouse; it’s not a who.
Trampling everything with sorrow and pain;
I wanna get rid of the mammoth in my brain.
The leftover sense that led me
here from the dawn to summer
on the flickering shores that remember;
the moment when you felt your life begin
the moment you felt the summer sun
hit your skin,
excitement, passing warm between
bodies of brazen poems
and timeless strokes that dawn of summer,
my wish was to be the waves beneath
the moonlight skies that burnt emerald,
and glistened, Like a sight yet discovered
the final, precipices to dreams
from a distant wing, before the dawn
to summer wishes were my everything.
Lightning flash
and thunder crash
and rain beyond compare.
Hurricane winds
and dark decends.
Love her if you dare.
So sweet a smile
please stay a while
And in your eyes I'll stare.
It's that smile that hides
the storm behind your eyes.
All the pain
like sheets of rain
across those eyes do sweep.
Winds of change
life rearranged.
Like climbing mountains steep.
And the thunder too
that comes from you
Anger way down deep.
The feelings stirred
makes things seem blurred
like walking in a dream.
But smile so bright
it lights the night
like a searchlight beam.
Your smile so sweet
when eyes first meet
like candy it would se
